Synopsis :
In 1868, after the end of the Bakumatsu
war,former legendary assassin Kenshin Himura
(Takeru Sato) has now become a wandering
samurai. Offerring aid and protecting those in
need as atonement for his past deeds. During
this time Kenshin Himura comes across and aides
Kaoru Kamiya (Emi Takei). Her father opened the
Kamiya Kasshin-ryu, a kendo school located in
Tokyo and Kaoru is now an instructor there.
Kaoru then invites Kenshin to stay at her dojo.
Their relationship develops further, but
Kenshin is still haunted by his violent past.

Synopsis :
Kenshin Himura is a legendary swordsman in
the wars accompanying the turbulent fall of
Japan's Shogunate in the 19th century. Once
feared as 'Battosai the Killer', he has adopted
a peaceful life since the arrival of the 'new
age'.
As Makoto Shishio, the 'Shadow Killer' who
succeeded to Kenshin's position, knew too much
of the dark side of the new government, he was
stabbed and his body set on fire on the rise of
the new age; However, he survived, and, wrapped
in bandages, he has since then been scheming in
the Kyoto underworld, and raised an army of
disaffected former samurai with the aim of
overthrowing the new regime. Agreeing to a
request by the new government to defeat
Shishio, Kenshin leaves his beloved ones in
Tokyo and sets out for Kyoto. He and Shishio
are a match in skill and in wits, but their
aims are opposite. Can Kenshin preserve the
nation without breaking his vow that he will
kill no more?
3. Rurouni Kenshin : The Legend Ends

Synopsis :
To defeat Makoto Shishio who aims to
conquer Japan, Kenshin arrives in Kyoto and
tries to face the troop of Shishio. However,
his mighty enemy is ready to start invading
Tokyo with the steel-reinforced battleship. To
help captured Kaoru who is thrown into the sea
by Shishio, Kenshin also dives in to save her
but is washed ashore alone, unconscious. As he
recovers with the help of Seijuro Hiko, the
master of Kenshin who happens to find him on
the shore, Kenshin realizes he may be no match
for Shishio now and asks the master to give the
ultimate technique of the sword style. On the
one hand, Shishio finds that Kenshin is still
alive, and then he orders the government to
execute Kenshin. Confronting warrior after
warrior, can Kenshin beat the last but the most
madly opponent Makoto Shishio? |
